When you start a charge through the app using a debit or credit card, £30 is frozen by your banking provider during the charging process. Once the final amount has been confirmed the remaining balance is unfrozen - with us taking the price of the charging session.
Depending on your banking provider, you may see this amount in your pending transactions for up to 7 working days after you have charged.
If you'd like to avoid these in the future, we would recommend using our credit payment option. If you started the charge via guest checkout or via contactless payment reader, you will need to register an account to use credit. You can top up your credit in the app.
