What Happens If My Cable Is Stuck In The Station?

Please don't panic!

Our support team is available 24/7 to help you with releasing your cable from the station. However, before you contact our helpline, we recommend trying a few simple steps on your own. Please follow these easy instructions to assist you in the process:

  • Make sure that the cable is detached from your vehicle. Attempting to release the cable while it is still connected to your vehicle will not be successful.
  • Reconnect the cable to your vehicle, then lock and unlock the vehicle five times. On the final unlock, attempt to release the cable from both your vehicle and the station.
  • Reconnect the cable to your vehicle and start the charging process for a few minutes. After that, stop the charging, then disconnect the cable from your vehicle before attempting to release it from the station.
  • Check the station for any manual release buttons; some models may feature touch-sensitive controls.

In the event that the cable cannot be released remotely, our support agent will reach out to the 2nd line support team. They will coordinate with the charge point operators (CPO) to assist in releasing your cable.
