What happens if my cable is stuck in the charge point?
Please don't panic!
Our support team is available 24/7 to help you with releasing your cable from the station. However, before you contact our helpline, we recommend trying a few simple steps on your own.
Did you know that you can release your cable from the station via your app without calling our helpline?
- Go to the Clenergy EV app
- Go to the burger menu
and click Charging history
- Click into your most recent session and click release cable
If that doesn't work, try the following:
- Reconnect the cable to your vehicle, then lock and unlock the vehicle five times. On the final unlock, attempt to release the cable from both your vehicle and the station.
- Check the station for any manual release buttons.
In the event that the cable cannot be released remotely, our support agent will reach out to the 2nd line support team. They will coordinate with the charge point operators (CPO) to assist in releasing your cable.
