How to Onboard: Hydra Cubus

This article will talk you through how to connect a Hydra Cubus charger to the Clenergy EV back office.

  1. Download the Hcharger app for your device.
  2. Once the app has been successfully installed, open the app and select the icon as highlighted
  3. Review the Prompt Message and select Accept.
  4. Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your device. Cubus - Bluetooth activation
  5. Once the app has discovered the relevant charge point, select the link icon and when prompted enter the PIN located on the side of the charge point.

  6. Upon returning to the home screen, select the charge point as highlighted.

  7. Select the settings icon to proceed.

  8. Select Networking Mode.

  9. Select the desired network connection method, then select Confirm and enter the relevant credentials to connect. 
    Please note: If using a Clenergy EV-supplied SIM card for the network connection please refer to the details below.

    KPN SIM APN: wlapn.com
    Password/Username (for both suppliers): clenergy
    In the event a 3rd party SIM card is being used, please refer to the supplier or manufacturer for the correct details.

  10. Wait for the charge point to reboot then re-stablish Bluetooth communication. Return to the settings menu and select OCPP.
  11. Enter wss://clenergy.online:8081 into the OCPP Server Address field and leave the EV Charger Identification Code as the default serial number. Select Settings to trigger a reboot and complete the onboarding process.
