This article will talk you through how to connect a Zaptec Go charger to the Clenergy EV back office.
- Download and install the Zaptec app for your mobile device from the relevant app store, then select Install charging station.
Zaptec App - App Store - Scan the QR code on the chargepoint. Please note: You may need to authorise the Zaptec app to do so.
- Select Install Zaptec Go.
- Enter the 4 digit pin code that is supplied in the documentation.
- Configure the electrical settings as determined by your installation using the relevant fields.
- Scroll down and choose your country of installation, acknowledge the RCD disclaimer and select Save to proceed.
- Return to the front screen of the app select Log In.
- Login to the app with your Zaptec credentials.
- Select + Add new.
- Connect to the chargepoint using your preferred method from the options highlighted.
- Enter the same 4 digit pin as previously required.
- Enter the relevant address details and select Save.
- Name the chargepoint and select Save.
- Accept, configure or remove the charging schedule as required. Please note: changing the back-office OCPP management system may result in the schedule being removed/altered.
- Select Done to proceed.
- Select the settings icon in the top-left hand side of the screen.
- Select Advanced settings to proceed.
- Scroll down and use the relevant options to configure your wi-fi network settings and update the chargepoint firmware. If a 4G connection is to be used; “eapn1.net” and “clenergy” should be used as the APN address and password respectively.
- On the web browser, navigate to the Zaptec Portal (https://portal.zaptec.com) and login using your Zaptec credentials.
- On the portal menu, select Chargers.
- Select your chargepoint from the list.
- Scroll down to the OCPP settings and enter the following into the URL field: wss://clenergy.online:8081/XXXXXX (x being the chargepoint serial number). Select Save, then Restart the chargepoint to complete the process.
