How to Onboard: EVBox Gen 4

This article will talk you through how to connect an EVBox Gene 4 Charger to the Clenergy EV back office.

1. Download and install the EVBox Connect app for your Android or IOS device from the relevant app store.
   
2. Open the app on your device and select Start Pairing. You will be prompted to activate Bluetooth on your device if it isn’t already enabled.
   
3. Select the desired charger from the list, making a note of the serial number.
4. Enter the Security code that is provided with the packaging of the charger; then select Authorise.
   
5. Once your device has connected to the charger select Installer Mode.
6. Enter the security code (same code as previously used to access the charger). Acknowledge the disclaimer and select Continue to proceed.
7. Select Charging Management Platform.
8. Select Different backend URL.
   
9. Enter the following URL into the highlighted field: wss://clenergy.online:8081. Select Save to proceed.
   
10. Enter the following URL into the highlighted field: wss://clenergy.online:8081. Select Save to proceed.
    
11. Click Select at the bottom of the screen to proceed.
12. Select Reboot the charging station to complete the process.
