This article will talk you through how to connect an EG201-DCL charger to the Clenergy EV back office.
Before powering up the charger, photograph or take note of the WIFI and portal login details on the white label inside the charger. Then power up the charger and wait for the LED to turn from White to Blue. At this point the charger's WIFI hotspot should become available and will display as the following format: eo-############
Select the security key option to enter the password. Enter the WIFI password as described on the charger label. Please note: This process will vary from operating system to operating system.
Once a connection has been successfully established, open a web browser on your device and enter the following URL: https://10.10.10.1
Your browser may go through security protocols at this point. Please accept and continue to the EO portal using the relevant process as displayed on your web browser. Please note: This process will vary from browser to browser.
Once the portal has loaded, login using the details provided on the charger label.
On the EO home page, select CSMS from the menu on the left hand side.
Enter the following URL into the CSMS Server Address field wss://clenergy.online:8081. Leave the Charger Identity Field blank as this will allow the chargepoint to connect via the serial number. Set all other toggles as displayed below.
Select Network from the menu and enter the relevant details for your installation as required to establish a stable internet connection. For 4G networks, enter eapn1.net in the APN/username field and “clenergy” in the password fields.
Select Installer from the menu, set the Timezone and complete the details in the relevant fields as required.
Select Admin from the menu and select restart under the SCC client header. Once this process has completed you will see a confirmation message on the right hand side of the screen. Once completed, select restart under the EVSE(s) header to complete the process.
