How do I start a charge?

Follow these simple steps to get your vehicle charging.

Depending on the model of charge point, you may be required to follow additional steps to get your charge started. 

APP

To start a charge with the app, please follow the below steps:

  1. Plug cable into vehicle

  2. Open the app (Log in or checkout as a guest)

  3. Scan the QR code on the charge point with the app or enter the station ID

  4. Select which connector you would like to use and click Charge

  5. Select the payment method you would like to use and click Confirm on the next page

  6. Plug in your cable when the app indicates for you to

  7. Charge will start

RFID Card

  1. Unplug cable from charge point (if tethered cable, unplug from vehicle)

  2. Scan RFID card on the reader of the charge point

  3. Select Charge connecter required on screen

  4. Plug connector into vehicle

  5. Check your vehicle to see if the charge has started

Contactless Debit/Credit Card

  1. Unplug cable from charge point (if tethered cable, unplug from vehicle)

  2. Scan Credit/Debit card on Payter contactless terminal on charge point

  3. Select charge connector required on screen

  4. Plug connector into vehicle

  5. Some stations may ask you to press ok on the screen and then press the connector

  6. Charge will start
